There's a cure to this "Pokemon" problem...Posted on: 09/30/25 12:11PM
Pokemon (and to extension, Nintendo) is in hot waters recently, they didn't just made dogshit games, but also had beef with their competitors who beat SWSH in term of sales. But I found a way to stop all of this, and I'm not asking for a boycott.

And look, let's not say that it's "impossible", all while using anecdotal fallacy or other meme worthy horseshit, I know what you say. Because this isn't the first time that Pokemon or even Nintendo lost a case. They lost the case against Germany for the whole refunds fiasco, they also lost against a supermarket smaller than Nintendo in size of budget, and the whole ICE situation. They're not a unstoppable force despite what many people will tell you, don't inherit such thoughts or else you have teenagers crying on a SMB fangame that this will take down. You HAVE the right to do this, you HAVE the power. As consumers and fans who doing this for the sake of criticism against a bunch of people who abuse the industry for the sake of fiscal results. If fucking EA allows fangames and mods, like, see the entire CaC and PVZ category, then you know the true evil in this world.
I know this isn't me, I'm not usually do this entire preachy revolution or whatever, but I don't want everyone in the industry, even the indie scene will be hit by lawsuits after lawsuits over the most basic stuff you could think of. And that I also don't want the entire monster capturing genre to be "just Pokemon". The Pokemon Company is the true cancer behind all of Pokemon, with their lack of care with their developers to snake behavior. And that Nintendo is an gaming fascist doesn't help this case at all.
Let's stop bury our heads in the sand and actually dare to speak up. Even if you don't want to participate out of lack of care, at the very least you can recommend this to anyone.
