For a summary, Nintendo attempted at DMCA Palworld for "stealing" their designs both in game and characters. Didn't just go that far, but Pocketpair got the advantage in the end.

They didn't just sided with Sony, but also Bushido, one of the biggest card companies in Japan. And they also manage the merchandise and other shit.
So yeah, Nintendo and the PKMN company lost for good, and it's a sign that good things does exists and prevails if your naive.

I may be a die-hard loyalist to Nintendo..but every time they take things to court..they don't wear their respective hearts...they've become either Disney or Warner Bros.....they got all the money from years of experience,and making a quick buck in the legal department isn't the best way to do it...I feel sorry for myself for being this much of a loyalist..but I can't betray that trust no matter how bitter the reality is..no,there has to be some proper explanation on why they become an embodiment of the Japanese copyright law.

Dude you can enjoy the games without liking the company at all. It's very easy to disconnect from them. They don't care about you nor your money so why you should care? Move on from the nostalgia and face the present. It's not the 80s anymore.

Play it, also has mod support too.
