They're both showing as flagged for deletion, you just have to wait for a mod to get around to deleting them.

I can process thousands of posts in a few days with ease.

Over 7400 posts in the flagged post queue. Over 270,000 deleted posts that haven't been purged. (Only lozer can purge)

It's not as easy as it looks. It takes me most of an hour to go through 100 posts.

Make sure it's not a bogus flag.
Does it break the rules?
Is it a dupe and not a near miss, alt, edit, uncensor?
Is it the inferior dupe?
If they didn't specify what it is a dupe of then you have to IQDB. (People please include the post ID of what it is a dupe of. If we can't find it we'll unflag it.)
Quality is subjective.

7K posts is not that much for someone like me. When I was at full power I could tag 1K posts per day, 500 average, If I remember correctly. And that was after processing thousands of posts and determining what was viable. It is one of my talents.

But I am not mod material because I would be brutal with idiots and I am unruly sometimes.

I am a fairly good pixel peeper. Analyzing that kind of stuff is something that I do well. It helps that I use a huge 4K monitor.

It's been a week now and the posts haven't been deleted... Why not give users the opportunity to delete their posts?

Because posts belong to the community and the original artist, not rhe uploader. Posts will only be removed if staff determine that they break site rules or the original artist submits a DMCA.
