OP, what the fellas said. Comment on posts, avoid useless comments, because if they end up deleted they hurt your account.
I also believe that tagging is useless to get posting rights. But tagging is good, if you do it right, so tag anyway.

If tagging doesn't do anything, that severely limits how to gain reputation, considering I can't even leave comments on posts, I guess just stick to replying/interacting in the forum portion?

If I could comment on images I wouldn't post here. I cannot see any reasonable cause that my account is limited from commenting, so until I give up on whatever algorithm there is possibly existing on the forum, I've yet to just dismiss commenting as wholly inaccessible. I like providing links or names of where the source is, often hidden in multiple episodes.
I don't think tagging gives rep but I adjust some, especially if it wasn't filtered on my blacklist lol

Same, this account is quite old, part of the reason i never interacted with the site was the fact that as soon as I tried to was limited left and right, trying to get to posting some images from little known artists

I'm curious as well. Funny thing is, I was able to comment pretty easily for a while, then I couldn't (probably after getting a couple of maybe-too-horny comments removed; I know to rein it in better now lol). Then I got the ability to post *one comment* (my most recent), and now I get the notification that I can't comment again because my reputation is too low.
