So... enlighten a Desu-dumbass. Is Rozen Maiden essentially another fighting anime with creatures you control? Is it Zatch Bell again? Which is Bay Blade again. Which is Yu-Gi-Oh again. Which is Digimon again. Which is Pokemon again. Which is Magic the Gathering again. Which is Poker again. Which is Blackjack again. Which is Solitaire again. Which is Dominoes again. Which is Organization again.

Well the dolls do have human 'owners', yes, but the dolls all have their own agendas. Their human 'hosts' don't do much other than provide them with power to do their own bidding with. There's also only seven or eight of them, depending upon whether you're watching the anime or reading the manga.
