Hate to nitpick, but how would a pistol of that design even work? The handle and magazine aren't aligned with the feeding ramp and chamber.

anon 1; this design is impractical, because it doesn't look like the handle magazine would work at all. The only options that they have here is a side-feed from the right, meaning that a right-hand shooter would find themselves getting brass in their face, or they have to manually load each shot by cocking back the slide each time, pretty much turning this into a gunpowder crossbow type of contraption.

I think that's not really a gun, it's a mythical but also physical representation of the characters... like in Silent Hill how things are both real and not real.
