Zelda games have always been brutal. It just never focused on it. (Ever play Link to the Past? All those knights you fight in the intro castle? Those are mind controlled human knights, thats why the front gate guard actually talks to you and tells you to go home. YOU'RE ACTUALLY KILLING HUMANS!)
