Here we have a clear case of somebody doing it right, as few would get this far. The more foolhardy would simply find a succubus and have their soul taken; they would never research the proper spells and artifacts needed to nullify the latent powers that the succubi possess and then allow for binding.
For only once that is done can go out and hunt your prey. Once powerless and bound, the succubus has no ability to harm you, nor defy you.
It is then that they realize for the first time the true meaning of fear.
