Ahhh. Good Anon, I concede that to you. I thought it was another GM variant. Then again, I haven't seen much of Patlabor. I've seen enough to know I like it and that the Ingram is a lovely design.
Also, earliest "Green suit/gold visor" mix I can recall off the top of my head was Starship Troopers Roughnecks Chronicles in the later 90's. Any earlier examples? (Perhaps said Helldiver for one. I don't know when Patlabor was released.)

To be fair, the original color of Guncannon MP is red with green visor. This one intentionally painted green with gold visor. And then grouped together with another mech from different franchise with the same color scheme.
Why such grouping? Anyone who draw this has Halo in mind. This drawing is NOT Halo for sure, but inspired by it. Whether or not Halo tags are appropriate, I'll leave it to the others.
