Another factor in why Simon chose not to bring her back might be because there wouldn't have been anything for Simon to revive using his Spiral Energy. I mean, she kept herself around for as long as she could, after all. And in the 2nd compilation movie, we do see Nia literally try to keep herself from disappearing as she's writing her diary. Who's to say that she's truly dead when she disappears? I'll agree with anyone that points out that this is wishful thinking on my part. But at the least, one does have to wonder why her ring didn't disappear with the rest of her like it did when she was teleported to the Anti-Spiral homeworld after finally shaking off the control the Anti-Spirals had on her mind.
