Indeed the pokemon have become more unique as opposed to their 1st gen ancestors but when you look back at 1st gen, you can't help but think, "Damn, those are so un-creative." I mean really, A rock with arms and a face, and not just one of those but THREE!?!? Not to mention a ball and a slightly different ball that just happen to be electric...

As opposed to the last few generations, where all the monsters are cute, or lame dragons?
It seems like these days, if it's a legend, it's automatically a dragon. Palkia, Dialga, and the two new ones...
These new generation monsters are too cute. I kind of wish they were ugly face-rocks.
