Anon3, you're misunderstanding Anon1. With "up" he means the vertical position on the slit. I agree about the location of the fingers being wrong, as the vaginal opening is at the base of the slit and not in the middle, ergo it looks like the hand is fingering the urethra and not the vagina.
In terms of the fingers being too far IN, the average vaginal canal is 12 cm when the woman's aroused and almost half that otherwise. The average middle-finger is 10 cm. You can definitely feel the cervix with long enough fingers.
