Anon1, I take it you didn't pay attention when they covered World War II in school, did you?
You also never saw the second "Alien" movie?
But, yeah, if your memory only goes back to the last year, it does look like the powersuits in "Avatar", too. ^_^

All in all, this looks like it probably be quite functional. Sure, it may be a few years before someone comes up with a both powerful and small enough power source to power it, but other than that, all it needs is maybe some more protection for the pilot.
