I think that is a Earth mother fertility goddess. You can find them all over the world and in almost every faith. Thought not all of them are multi-breasted. But all of them them do have large breasts and child bearing hips.

I saw a documentary about parlor tricks that priest did to stir the faith and fear of the believers. They used -ironically- highly scientific methods to achieve their goals. On of these tricks was about the fertility goddess of (forgot the name). They light fires beside the statue, which in turn heated a secret and hidden milk container. The ceremony was timed so that at the end, the milk will shoot out of her multi-breats. Awesome, no?
