@c2h5oh there are no extra teeth in the xray, i count 16 per jaw (for a total of 32) which is normal when you haven't had your wisdom teeth removed. you might be confused if you're not used to seeing panoramic xrays since the way they flatten out the 3d orientation is unintuitive for some people, but adult humans who haven't lost any teeth are generally expected to have 32 teeth.

Teeth pointing/growing in "the wrong way" as opposed to "straight" is called "impaction" and it's common for "wisdom teeth" (third molars) because they're vestigial traits of when human ancestors had broader jaws, hence the prevalence of removing them. It's a lot less common for second molars, but not unheard of
