I honestly don't think that if a female does go super saiyajin, her hair would spike up like the males. I think they would still be long and stringy, just gold haired. Can't have the girls looking like the guys now.

Creator said it's impossible for Pan to go Super Saiyajin due to her only having 1/4 Saiyajin blood. It's not enough. You need at least half to do it. The other 3/4 of Human Blood would counteract and it wouldn't work.

maniacal_tentacle_monster doesn't actually know what he's talking about. As someone else said, the creator only said that he didn't know how he would draw a female Super Saiyan, not that it was impossible.
As for Pan being 1/4, as someone else pointed out, Goku Jr. did it with 1/64 Saiyan blood (he's her great great grandson, which is outright said in the GT special). Of course, GT's logic is a bit...all over the place at times. maniacal_tentacle_monster's comment about it being impossible, however, likely comes from a misinterpretation of her character bio in the 7th Daizenshuu guide, which states:
"Her features are identical to her mother Videl, but she gets her black eyes from her father Gohan. Being a quarter Saiyan, though she's never become an Oozaru or Super Saiyan, her Saiyan blood gives her outstanding fighting talent."
As you can see, it doesn't say, "She can't go Super Saiyan because she's only 1/4 Saiyan." It only says that she HASN'T gone Super Saiyan. And since this is based on the manga only, it's saying she hasn't gone Super Saiyan by age four. Not exactly shocking.
