indeed it is. plus, the "tort" implies tortoise, which do not swim. and "terra" of course, means earth. but this is very nice anyway. :)

Just because it's a ground type doesn't mean it never goes swimming. Sure, fire types wouldn't want to go for a dip, but I don't really see why ground types would take too much issue with it. Weak to it or not. In fact, even if they're more vulnerable to it, it's already been proven ground types can stand water by both a graveler and a sandshrew in the first season of pokemon.

Needs the rocks on the shell, and flatter feet to be a Torterra, as well as spikes along the side of the head.

I love how everyone always mentions the Sandshrew, and yet completely ignores the fact that Ash's pikachu took down an Onyx because it was raining.

Just because a rule has exceptions doesn't mean they always apply.
