If Satoshi was made to be more than just to be the inferiour copy of Red, he might have surpassed the original.
What Satoshi needs is a bit Ryoma (Getter Robo), a bit Kouji (Mazinger Z), a bit Kenshiro (Fist of the North Star) and a bit Simon (Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann) for becoming a glorious badass!

But what did we got.....?
A eternal child, which doesn't grow up and loses all of his expierence in the next season. Chained never to reach the sky and to go beyound of it.

gotta say o.o while i no longer watch the series, Ash has had some moments in the Movies that are damn right awesome and frankly they make me Respect him on his own o.o

the fight with him and Charizard vs Entei in the third movie was epic o.o

his entire presence in Pokemon Heroes was just... just... Awesome

and that last little moment of him in the Manaphy movie was pretty damn heroic o.o the way he locked May in the Pod and went back to save the temple rather than leave the place to its fate and save themselves

o.o seriously... if the makers of the show would simply... allow him to mature as a character between the seasons and actually Grow as a person the way we the veiwers grew and matured it would really have been an overall better experiance for the long time fans of the franchise :3

eh we always have the Pokemon Adventures manga for the ones who want a more serious series representation :3 maybe do something for the other games the way they did Pokemon: the Origin :3
