So basically they're like a cross between shock absorbers, car bumpers, and insulation. Makes sense that relatively defenseless lolis would have them plumper than older females, who would be more capable of using their wits, in addition to their bodies' passive defenses, to respond to potential perils to their genitalia (and thus procreative ability).
