Yeah, olumidds, no one is trying to trick anyone into thinking this performer doesn't have a penis (that's part of the point of their performance isn't?), since the tag newhalf means precisely that. The argument for tagging newhalf, as opposed to trap, is to inform people that the performer (who some may view as a convincing femme, while others not--such perceptions being highly subjective after all) "herself" identifies as trans.
