Its something I have mixed feelings on. On one hand its good to have an art style not die with the artists when they eventually retire or pass away. Preserve an art style, you know? Doesn't have to be exclusive to one artist. On the other it kind of losses what makes it special when too many people do it.

I'm glad other people know how to do it but its kind of losing its appeal when so many people at once are doing it at the same time.

Oh don't get me wrong, I like the art style and I'm glad it will be preserved. Art style doesn't have to be exclusive to one artist, but when everyone is doing it, it kind of makes it less special. I guess I'm saying one artist doing it is too little and many artists doing it is too much, there needs to be a balance, for the sake of preserving unique art styles but also for the sake of variety.
