Agrias as a DK = even more powerful than Cid. Excalibur is what really makes the Sword Saint powerful, but Agrias has Tynar Rouge to even the odds! On the other hand, Chantage is good if you want Agrias to be an unstoppable - albeit slow - tank.

Agrias' base job has awful multipliers - and growth - so unlocking a job like DK really makes her into a powerhouse. Whereas Cid's Sword Saint is nearly as good as DK in multiplier (and growth) stats, especially since Sword Saint has *double* the HP multiplier of a DK, 160vs80... ouch!
