I got to ask, where did the whole Misty and other pokegirls in a sling shot bikini come from? Does she wear it in some type of Pokémon work, like one of the mangas? Or did it originated from some fan art or fanmade game/mod?

Den Geki Pikachu/Electric Tale of Pikachu manga series. The Japanese version was heavy on the fanservice that was mostly censored in the english release.
