Just a FYI: I'd recommend to anyone wanting to watch the ~Lord El-Melloi II Case Files~ series to watch the...
~Fate/StayNight~ TV series and especially the ~Fate/Zero~ TV series beforehand in order to have a better understanding of the Characters, References, and overall situations in this particular series.

And I personally recommend watching them in the following order:
Fate/StayNight - Fate/Zero - Lord El-Melloi II Case Files.
