I know some would consider it more satisfying to just gut punch or clock her back but I like it better that Tifa slapped her in turn instead. Not because it was hotter although let’s face it, it clearly was. But it shows that Tifa can play to her level, do her one better and beat her at her own game.

Tifa has taken plenty of hard knocks in her life (not in that way) so she’ll turn that other cheek because she knows she can take it (still not in that way).
