A tip for anyone making crepes: don't add all your milk at first like this! Combine your egg, flour, a little salt and sugar, and half of the milk to form a much thicker batter before thinning it out with the rest of the milk. Its much easier to get all the flour incorporated with no lumps when the mixture is thick---avoids unnecessary effort whisking
