Ano 01 While Murasaki might be the physically strongest Taimanin, Asagi is THE strongest Taimanin over all because of the combination of her having if not the best, one of the best ninja arts, being the most experienced and most important of all being very strong mentally. In the games Asagi has defeated Murasaki on multiple occasions with no problems.

She had "some" difficulty. Asagi doesn't curb stomp Murasaki, but she can out perform her by a significant degree. For example, one thing Asagi can't do is clash swords against Murasaki or else she'll be pushed back with great force. But Asagi ability is still far above Murasaki and most of the time she holds back against Murasaki.
