Not to bash on the artist, but I really get tired of this "enlarged version of the same character for the background" crap. It's lazy. The artist didn't want to come up with a real backdrop, so they do this "stylized" bullshit. It was lame, lazy and old back when I was doing art, and it's still lame, lazy and old.
