The buttons on the PS2 controller are reversed..the control pad is on the right instead of the left.

Maybe that's just how game systems *are* in Netherworlds. To screw up stupid humans who would expect them to have the exact same interface while the Overlords laugh at them for suddenly sucking at games they used to rock at!
