The joke here isn't lost in translation so much as being ridiculously obscure. "Dream Ability" refers to the Gen 5 dream world, wherein any Pokemon would automatically have their Hidden Ability. In the case of an Eevee, this would be 'Anticipation', which allows the 'mon to sense when it's in danger.
