Thing would be a monster against non-monster or non-mech enemy. 200mm cannon that is hard to overheat, two 160mm cannons that fire more quickly, 2 rockets, and a radar dish.

There's no way the smaller ones are 160mm if the main one is 200. Also if this thing is up to scale with real vehicles, the main gun is about 120mm and the two others are at most 50mm. Also putting more dakka like this just means you can take less ammo, and the fuckoff-big rockets on top of hatches are just a massive fire danger to the crew, whenever shrapnel flies around.

Classic Toho always came up with the best mecha and military vehicles. Destroy All Monsters and The War In Space had all my favorites, aside from the Maser Cannon. I would’ve loved to see them come up with transforming humanoids mechs a la Macross.
