I agree, Ume is literally the worst character. Not only is she unnecessarily awful to the rest of the cast, but she treats Oahiroi like an object for her, and her alone, to possess, which is really fucking gross. I hate when the only lesbian character is a rampant sociopath...

I think she’s only really mean to the protagonist because the girl she likes is into him. She’s kind of bitchy and violent but that ain’t exactly groundbreaking in anime but considering how the series is about people beating the crap out of each other over lunches, what she does feels like small potatoes in comparison. She’s also possessive which again is nothing really new. I do think she’s definitely hot, don’t really care for her personality-wise but I certainly wouldn’t say that she’s the worst or worthy of that level of hatred. You people need to chill out.

I definitely agree with that, but unfortunately, she's a massive buzzkill and played no part in the story. It's really hard to enjoy the absurdity of the show whenever she appears onscreen. Sure it was funny in the beginning, but the joke dragged on to the point you can't stand her anymore.
