She just has to say that the big bad is controlling goblins or has plans to produce more of them or something. Involve or mention goblins and you’ll have his undivided attention.

This wouldn't end well, because GS isn't overpowered at all. He's ordinary, and gets badly injured quite a lot. He has no special equipment because he knows he's liable to lose it, and doesn't want an enemy using it. His only real advantage is that he's too angry to die, like Doom Slayer.
