I kinda wish that Super Saiyan was a bit more harder to control or make appear. I think the moment people could call upon it at will, it became less impressive and that was before practically everybody could do it and there were so many levels and versions of it. I mean it used to be a legend that may or may not have spurred on an act of genocide by the guy who was at the time the most powerful being in the galaxy or universe or whatever.

Now kids who’ve never fought in a life or death situation can do it like it’s a party trick.

Sadly, they're not gonna change that dumb gimmick Universe 6 Saiyans did with their back getting tingly. The Super Saiyan of legend has been literally reduced to a child's plaything, and a cheap quick easy access transformation. Instead of feeling rage and a sudden awakening of power fulfilled by breaking your own limits, all you gotta do is just friggin back tingle and boom, you're done.

Remember the moment when appear: the most classic situation appears in Saint seiya (than have more patches than a mantle) and wasn't relevant or even mantain the interest in the story (the divine armour). When the super saiyan appears, was for get an easy way to work (remember also the way how the manga appear, weekly isn't exactly good for health)
Any other transform was too iconic to be as homage, parody, reference and evolution in the media in the 90's?
