I think quinella only does it for the males. In the story it says that Alice refused to trust quinella or put herself in a position where quinella could do the easy synthesis that eugeo and probably other male sythesis knights went through. The light novels and anime state that alice required forced synthesis by chedulkin and the senate guys.

acctually it stated that quinella needed their help to force alice into submission to reveal her core so quinella could synthesis her so honestly there is no telling what really happened to alice
