It’s almost like people don’t remember or don’t care about her anymore. I can’t believe I’m actually saying this but I’m actually looking forward to the live action adaptation. Because maybe than it’ll revitalize some bloody interest in her at the very least. Or it could bring attention to a series that nobody was really paying to or talking about anymore anyway.

Dude, Cowboy Bebop is over 20 years old and the last animated part of the franchise came out the early-to-mid-00s. The series got rerun to death on Adult Swim and later Toonami for about 15 years. Considering how little content actually exists for Bebop, it has had extraordinary staying power.

But like I said, it's been over 20 years since it started. The well had to run dry eventually.

Tifa has one main game and a few spin-off titles and guest appearances here and there. Despite that, her presence online is fairly noticeable. You’d think that she made regular appearances in media or something, they even purposefully withheld her appearance in the remake trailers as long as they could so I don’t think Faye not being on trending is the issue.

Bro I'm not sure if you realize but there's a fucking massive amount of supplemental material Tifa appears in. Advent Children, Dirge of Cerberus, Crisis Core, the Dissidia titles (Duodecim and the mobile games under that name), Theatrhythm, Brave Exvius, Record Keeper, Ehrgeiz, Kingdom Hearts, and a few others as well.

Tifa still gets art because Square keeps her in the active public consciousness. Faye does not have that.
