You know i hope the mangaka won't chicken out like usual with Kirara manga and make them a couple one day.

The author loves yuri, but at the end of the day, it really depends on the publisher. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

They obviously are a couple, but just do not come out with it. Not so many people wanna test if their coworkers will accept or not.

Or may be their parents are really strict about this things and wait them to be married, so coming out will only produce hatestorm

anon3: considering that they work at Eagle Jump, i don't think they have to worry about their co-workers. Heck, with Shizuku at the helm, i'll be surprised if there's not a sizable number of lesbians in the company.

the publisher probably would'nt have allowed to go as far as they already did if they had anything against it. i think it's just Japan general tendency to rarely include gay relationships beyond subtext in works not explicitely centered around them (ie yuri, yaoi, bara or some queer focused seinen), even when the author like thoses.
I still have good hope for thoses two, though. really the ony thing that keep them from beccoming canon is that Kou is too dense to notice Rin's obvious crush.

Yeah that's also a good point, some authors don't want (or like) to shift the genre too much, and if he commits to developing the couple further, fans are going to want more romance-focused chapters.
