I don't have a problem with the changes to Mythra's outfit (she still looks really good like this), but I do find it bizarre that they happened at all. Since the original design has been released internationally for quite a while now, what's really been accomplished?

it has created a small battle with fans of thighs over those who love stockings. Fortunately I'm a level 100 Wizard, so I love it all.

It was most likely done because of the Japanese game rating board, the CERO, sort of similar to the US' ESRB and the EU's PEGI. Nintendo probably wanted the CERO A (equivalent of the ESRB's E for Everyone) as opposed to whatever it is they use for Teen rated games.

^Yes, that's definetly it. Smash director complained about CERO when they made him censor Palutena's dress in the previous game, so surely it's them meddling again.

He could have just ignored them, but he didn't, because he cares more about money than integrity. It's not like kids don't buy M rated games anyway, and he's worried about the rating being upped to CERO B even though the series used to be rated T in the west.

He could have just ignored them, but he didn't because it doesn't actually matter in any way.

Integrity? You're seriously calling this an issue of integrity? Funniest shit I've read in a while.
