Simple- she went somewhere private, took off all her clothes, went to the phone booth, and called her teacher. It's entirely possible her clothing is in an alley ten feet away, but I highly doubt she'd tell him that.

That being said, she probably kept the money in her pocket and took it out when she stripped down. Just because she's naked now doesn't mean she left the house that way.
