The links to the left of the image are called "tags". They're used for finding images on the site, and the ones to the left of the image you're viewing are tags that are actually on that image.
The color of the tags indicates what type they are. Blue tags are general tags, which tag things in an image. Green tags are character tags, which are the names of characters present in an image. Red tags are artist tags, which indicate who drew the image. And, finally, purple tags are copyright tags, which indicate which series the image comes from or is based on.
That, or it said it right at the start of the video.
