Tyrannosaurus Rex was a good choice for Megaton because he's a king and Rex is Latin for king. He's also a tyrant and Tyranno is Latin for tyrant. Tyrannosaurus Rex= tyrant lizard king

Anon#749162. We don't know what the t-rexes actually looked like. Some paleontologists believe they had feathers. So for all we know, they could have been purple. :D
