Without context this scene just kinda looks a bit ridiculous. I mean, she's sneaking around in dark color schemed mansion, wearing a bright red skin-tight suit and for whatever reason, decided to hide her flashlight in her mouth upon entering the air duct. I can pass the whole gun thing off (as she puts it in her cleavage in one shot but in another it shows a "down blouse" shot of her cleavage and there's this large gap between her breasts with no gun in sight) as failure to pay attention to minor detail on the artist's part because I know Lupin III was a manga in the 60's and an anime in the 80's.
