Ugh, it pains me the artist drew Billy violating gun safety like that. I mean, I spend very little time around firearms and therefore tend to make a few mistakes when handling them, but the one thing I make sure to do is exercise proper trigger discipline—even with airsoft and squirt guns.

In which case, he'd be dead anyway because the gun would most likely go off before he could get it on target. Keeping your finger on the side of a gun isn't only a matter of safety, it makes for faster access to the trigger when you do have to shoot.
Anyway, it's probably just an honest mistake by the artist, but still...
