Makes little sense to hug a shark. A shark brain isn't one with friendly feelings toward other living beings. A dolphin on the other hand is a mammal, which in fact used to be a dog like creature on land. They are pack animals with social capabilities and it makes as much sense to hug those as it does hugging a dog.

Still I wouldn't rule out the possibility that there is some girl out where who hugs a shark plushie out of ignorance. Personally I would avoid shark plushies though I wouldn't mind a dolphin one ^^
