That's it.

Personally, i take it that in these monstergirls are ferocious and bold before they found their mate, and then become timid when they found their mate.

^ If it's a strict before and after thing they usually delineate it in some way, like the Dragon "Strong willed, arrogant (depending on conditions, meek, lustful) Redcap "Ferocious (gentle)" etc, etc.

It's more likely that it's exactly as the profile spells out: Ferocious during sex and when protecting her husband, timid when interacting with him normally (out of fear of hurting him).
