I miss this show so much.... Why won't they add more to the series? The fan base is there, why waste a popular, loved, enjoyed production (anime/manga) to stagnate and become irrelevant? I'll keep wishing on stars.....

@anon they planned to continue it but then a natural disaster happened (i believe it was a earthquake) so it was put on hiatus because it was considered to be taboo to make a series with apocalyptic themes and since the writer just died it'll never get continued

Not true, since the former writer has many transcripts and most of the plot on notes, they might able to continue the series if they get consent from the current owners of the manga.
