I don't know how much a lamia weighs or a mermaid for that matter but to be able hold up one of each single-handedly is probably quite a feat. Clearly the heavy burden she has to carry every waking moment of everyday has clearly built up her upper-body. What can I say? Massive milk tanks give her great strength. Look towards Tio for more proof.

^Well, Mero is light enough that Darling can carry her with little effort, so she's likely in the range of 120/140 pounds. Miia, on the other hand, weighs up to 400/500 pounds, which is equivalent to a particularly heavy anaconda.
Therefore, carrying Mero is pretty feasible, but carrying Miia, near five times Mero's weight, is downright superhuman. For Cerea to heft her up with one hand and zero effort puts her at quite the immense upper body strength indeed.
Incidentally, Papi, despite being the smallest and lightest girl, is also able to carry Miia with little effort.

^This is true. Assuming Mama Miia weighs the same as her daughter, this means Darling's lifting (or at least dragging) capacity could potentially reach, or even exceed, 1000 straight pounds, which is downright insane.
For additional reference, Centorea is the heaviest of the main girls, likely in the range of 700-800 pounds, akin to a particular heavyset horse. Darling is physically capable of lifting/dragging a grown centaur. Holy shit.
And then it's even more insane that Papi, a petite gal specifically stated to be small and light so she can fly, is easily capable of overpowering said Darling.

Nothing insane or incredible about his carrying capacity. Obviously some logic has to go out the window in shows like this ;)
Though i still shake my head when female characters act desperate to get on a guy's dick, but then freak out when he actually see's their vagina..
