I actually like how Dawn looks. I think the shorts complement the blue in her hair well, and the way her hair is styled makes her look her age even more.

And Misty.. although I find her to be adorable as a tomboy, I find the scarf and skirt to be a nice contrast to her short hair. The hat complements her hair well, too. The outfit makes her soften up a bit. :)
