With each new series, there is always room for something new and unique. Since Pokemon S & M have no gyms, they had to come up with something new. A school setting is definitely something that can work for this series. The animation, I'm not disappointed with it at all. I just hope the story is phenomenal because everything we have seen of the games definitely show this is going to be one of the best Pokemon games EVER.

It's physically IMPOSSIBLE to replace Ash in the Pokemon series. The entire show is his adventure. When I see people say that Ash needs to be replaced, it's like hearing people ask for Goku to be replaced in the Dragonball series or Ichigo to be replaced in Bleach. It's just not physically possible to replace Ash, otherwise, the Pokemon anime won't have as much impact to people as it does now. He is the star and next to his partner Pikachu and Team Rocket, are the most recognizable character in the entire anime. Getting rid of him would be a huge mistake.
