I thought about asking this since I couldn't find a topic on this, mine would be Ekikon Kenkyuukai, ByunByun House, Tsuzuki Kazuhiko, Hayao Miyazaki, Hiroyuki Imaishi, Norio Sakurai, and Masahiko Ohta.

Yamatsuka Eye, or Ikue Mori, or Melt Banana. Cause music also counts as art, right?

Or else, those guys from Capcom (SF) and from Vanillaware are pretty dope, too.

Edit: there's also so many pixel-artists I like a lot. Syosa is one of them.

Working in anime Masaaki Yuasa, Takeshi Koike and Inu Curry. Other than that: Yoshitomo Nara, Aya Takano and Kikiyama.

I should've been specific on what type of art. But in music, Nujabes, Yuzo Koshiro, Koji Kondo would be my favorite.

Did you mean Gekidan Inu Curry? Cause I couldn't find anything on Inu Curry itself.

Well, crossnet's works are quite lovely...

...As for music? Call me a whore for something more mainstream but Susumu Hirasawa, An Cafe, and Kaya Chocolat all make some lovely work...

Did I really say Yamatsuka Eye without even mentionning Boredoms?

Reminds me of this:

It's all avant-garde/punk stuff, but those 3 I mentioned are fairly different from each other.
